    Major Duties

    • Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and non-appropriated fund budgeting.
    • Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc.
    • Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position
    • Performs analyses of perform financial statements for proposed ventures; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualification Summary

    Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience which includes: 1) interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems; 2) interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; and 3) requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": 1.Possess at least three (3) years of experience with DOD NAF MWR in field that requires financial knowledge. 2.Must have knowledge of AR215-1 or equivalent and internal controls. 3.Must have knowledge of NAF and APF (UFM - Uniform Funding Management) Funding. 4.Do you have proficiency in business intelligence tools? Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume and uploaded to the documents section at the time of application to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Preferred for this position.
