Qualification Summary

To qualify for an IT Specialist (APPSW/SYSANALYSIS), your qualifications must include: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after- competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Managing and advising teams of functional analysts, engineers and IT professionals in the planning, designing, testing, training, initial fielding, operations and maintenance of IT systems with an emphasis on ICAM related experience. - Develops, modifies policies, plans, goals, or objectives for assigned programs, projects and systems. - Administers programs and projects to include developing requirements, integrating, processes hardware sizing and speed, monitors and assesses software effectiveness. - Provides technical advice on the design, configuration, and implementation of computer infrastructure and software engineering and architectures. - Presents briefings to senior management, customers, and other stakeholders. - Implements and manages enterprise and IT transformation initiatives. - Researches, reviews, manages and implements COTS solutions.
