    Major Duties

    • Responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of DLA projects to execute approved data strategy and architecture.
    • Advises DLA organization and transformation program managers as to the requirements for integration and compliance with DoD level data and Enterprise Architectures.
    • Supports Agency-wide Business Process Reengineering efforts and ensures that alternative business strategies are evaluated and integrated in accordance with Enterprise Information Architecture.
    • Conducts analysis of transformation program initiative architectures to ensure they support the implementation of DLA strategic goals and business transformation efforts.
    • Evaluates the composition of the DLA technical and infrastructure architecture views to ensure that emerging functional and systems requirements are effectively and economically facilitated.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for an Information Technology Specialist (ENTARCH), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Initiates and provides guidance to explain regulatory and policy changes which impact overall enterprise architecture goals, long-range plans, projects, studies and evaluations Analyzes, evaluates, and advises on the current and predicted future logistics systems, technical, and data views of the enterprise architecture Provides guidance and direction in reviewing the appropriateness of existing data and enterprise architecture policies for new and/or highly innovative systems, technologies and fielding Evaluates the composition of technical and infrastructure architecture views to ensure that emerging functional and systems requirements are effectively and economically facilitated. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
