    Major Duties

    • Coaches team in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques
    • Provides advice on work methods, practices, and procedures, and assists the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.
    • Leads the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
    • Making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks.
    • Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
    • Provides operational oversight of the operating budget to assure that necessary actions are taken to stay within the budget and accomplish the mission.
    • Develops new or modifies existing work methods, organizational structures, records, files management processes, staffing patterns, procedures for administering program services, guidelines/procedures, and automating work processes.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Lead Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Serving as chief administrator for resource, budget, and/or as a financial advisor. Providing specific administrative or technical training. Training team members. Working in teams to accomplish tasks and/or projects. Ensuring an organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
