    Major Duties

    • Conducts studies and analysis involving the formulation and implementation of programs??assigned to the Installation Operations Division.
    • Administers, coordinates, and monitors locations and actions regarding organizational safety performance and the timely correction of identified safety deficiencies.
    • Creates and presents visual presentations. Develops and presents recommendations to be taken to prevent the future recurrence of deficiencies
    • Conducts safety and occupational health surveys, inspections, and investigations to identify uncontrolled hazards, verify hazard corrections, monitor the effectiveness of existing hazard controls, and assure compliance with existing OSHA regulations
    • Serves as Government Purchase Card (GPC) Cardholder Solicits Division staff for requirements for GPC purchases.
    • Ensures 100% of all GPC purchases are verified with funding availability and are in accordance with established Federal Acquisition and DoD/DLA Regulations

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for Management Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify for the GS-12 grade level, specialized experience must be at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time- after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience and knowledge with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and their impact upon the operation Evaluating techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems within an organization Making effective oral and written presentations to defend work products. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
