    Major Duties

    • Serves as an analyst responsible for implementing enterprise data management which involves on-going and future data governance, data sharing, and data quality in support of the DLA Strategic Plan and the DLA Data and Analytics Strategy.
    • Acts as an advisor to leadership and ensures data is Visible, Accessible, Understandable, Linked, Trustworthy, Interoperable, and Secure (VAULTIS) in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) data strategy.
    • Serves as an analyst in the EDM Division responsible for leading efforts relating to the EDM Division which are critical to the overall success of the CDAO to implement and execute the requirements of the Federal Data Strategy.
    • Ensures a clear requirement is developed by the customer and discuss sustainment with the business upfront.
    • Responsible for the discovery of all data sharing and War Data Platform (WDP)/formerly ADVANA projects by researching data feeds required.
    • Submits analytic support requests to CDAO's Artificial Intelligence Analytics Center of Excellence (AIA COE) Division to ensure prioritization in AIA COE’s work queue.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Assists senior analysts with implementing a process to define data quality, including identifying critical data, existing business and maintenance rules, and data patterns. Partners with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs and decision making driven by data analysis. Use techniques and data quality tools to measure the quality of the data, identify anomalies, nuances, and errors to help ensure issues are resolved and remediated. Creates data models and data dictionaries. Assists senior analysts with developing data governance principles, policies, and programs for stewardship, advocacy, and custodianship of data. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
