    Major Duties

    • Serves as the Director of Distribution Network Integration, leads DLA Distribution’s emergent initiatives and new business that cross directorate and individual Distribution Center boundaries.
    • Provides the required level of coordination needed to effectively implement approved new initiatives that span more than one organizational element in DLA Distribution.
    • Identify the financial and manpower resources needed to achieve DLA/DLA Distribution mission objectives, as well as perform and support mission functions.
    • Coordinate diverse DLA Distribution functional elements, and apply sound business practices to optimize support to the military services and other customers.
    • Works directly with field Commanders and Directors for network analysis and integration requirements to meet assigned missions.
    • Collaborates and coordinates with applicable DLA HQ elements on assigned functions.
    • Manages and is responsible for network staffing, workload analysis, and analytical support.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Management and Program Analysis Officer (Integration), your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Integrating mission operations directly influencing distribution management policy and related resource allocation decisions; Managing the integration of storage and distribution operations; and Reporting the status and accomplishments to leadership Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
