    Major Duties

    • As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for the following duties (If selected at the GS-13 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity):
    • Serve as a Management and Program Analyst in DLA Chief of Staff, DLA Installation Management (DM), Management Support Office (DS-M), Task Force Support Office (TFSO), Support Division, Resource Management.
    • Perform a wide range of duties to include budgeting, analysis, finance and accounting, and coordination, as well as evaluation and refinement of plans, operations and maintenance of our program’s facilities.
    • Research and investigate new or improved business and management practices for application of support division program or operations; and develops management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology.
    • Develop estimates of funding and manpower requirements for long- range planning and coordinates proposed programs with higher echelons to obtain support and to ensure the program requirements are incorporated into overarching corporate activities.
    • Utilize financial reporting and accounting procedures and mechanisms for remote site operation ensuring procedures are sound and maintain necessary internal controls.
    • Establish and manage status reporting, and monitor readiness of supporting elements for operations capability, and prepares operational impact statements on actions and exercises.

    To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sectorApplicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-14 Analyze and evaluate major administrative aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs. Develop new methods to resolve major administrative problem or plan. Plan, organize, coordinate, and lead multiple projects in order to evaluate progress. Managed crisis management support program. Managed and analyzed budgetary, manpower, and facilities programs Developed emergency contingency plan. GS-13 Analyze and evaluate major administrative aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs. Develop new methods to resolve major administrative problem or plan. Plan, organize, coordinate, and lead a project to evaluate progress. Supported a crisis management support program. Managed a budgetary, manpower and facilities program. Developed a contingency program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
