    Major Duties

    • Serves as a training leader for multiple Defense Logistics Agency systems by including the program manager offices to gain in-depth system knowledge.
    • Designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates tailored training solutions for a diverse audience by analyzing training requests and conducting customer needs assessments.
    • Creates and maintains comprehensive and up-to-date training materials, including course plans, procedures, job aids, and eLearning conversions.
    • Guides, develops, and certifies team members and instructors, ensure they are well-prepared, self-sufficient, and capable of delivering tailored customer training.
    • Manages training programs, course loads, and instructor assignments, while evaluating program effectiveness and proposing improvements.
    • Trains basic to advanced courses on multiple Defense Logistics Agency systems to personnel at all levels, from entry-level specialists to senior management.
    • Maintains communication with internal and external Defense Logistics Agency staff, participates in meetings, prepares reports, briefings, and written correspondence for senior leaders.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Collaborates with program offices to gain deep system expertise, then designs and develops tailored training solutions and comprehensive course materials. Oversees the training program, from managing course loads and developing instructors to delivering courses to personnel at all levels. Engages with internal and external DLA staff and keeps senior leadership informed through meetings, reports, and briefings. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
