    Major Duties

    • Works under the supervision of the Director of Morale Welfare and Recreation who provides general instructions, standard procedures and policies, and relies on incumbent to control work assignments of other members of the recycling activity.
    • Serves as working supervisor of the recycling activities exercising full supervisory responsibility over work operations.
    • Plans use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, week-to-week or month-to-month basis.
    • Responsible for supervising workers directly or through subordinate leaders in accomplishing the work.
    • Plans and establishes leave schedule, determines training needs, makes formal appraisals of subordinate work performance, and recommends promotion or reassignment of subordinates.

    Qualification Summary

    Experience and training that provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent with accepted practices of the trade. Ability to use and maintain appropriate tools and equipment. Ability to read, understand, and apply instruction and other materials related to this job. Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise. Highly Preferred: Must have a forklift license and experience utilizing a forklift. Experience MUST be reflected on your Resume at the time of application and Certifications MUST be uploaded to the Documents section to be considered for Standard and/or Highly Qualified for this position.
