    Major Duties

    • Information Technology (IT) Program Analyst in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations, J-6, Program Executive Office (PEO).
    • Serves in the System Applications and Products (SAP) Platform in support of the SAP Platform Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager.
    • Performs administrative duties and exercises broad responsibility for executing Platform level projects.
    • Administrative duties include calendar management, travel arrangements, task tracking, records management, managing information repositories, event planning, etc.
    • Develops presentations and products using system tools for Program Managers.
    • Coordinates and tracks SAP Platform projects and performance metrics. Ensures communication and accountability.
    • Applies complex policies to SAP Platform objectives to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
    • Identifies and coordinates assistance across all SAP Platform programs.
    • May serve as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on small contracts.
    • As a COR, manages acquisition and budget management processes and ensures consistency and regulatory compliance.
    • Supports IT service and technology contract management life cycle and contractor performance.
    • Manages Contractor Performance Assessments Reporting System inputs, Performance Work Statements, and Statements of Work.
    • Manages Independent Government Cost Estimates, contractor performance reviews, proposal development and bid evaluations.
    • Analyzes information for briefings to Platform and PEO organizations.
    • Facilitates communication between the SAP Platform, portfolios and stakeholders.
    • Develops strategies, manages projects, tracks goals, and provides data driven recommendations.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS- 12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time- in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after- competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Providing support on large organization information technology (IT) programs, projects or applications serving large customer communities. Performing research and providing solution analysis through various reviews and products. Providing program management oversight for system programs by tracking goals, metrics, and performance. Applying analytical, qualitative, and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of assigned projects and program operations including contract administration and budgetary requirements. Coordinating and communicating with leaders and across large teams. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
