    Major Duties

    • Responsible for providing corporate information technology (IT) related acquisition program management, investment management, enterprise architecture, and logistics data services.
    • Serves as a project manager responsible for the program management support associated with the business operations in support of the development and sustainment of automated systems.
    • Oversee projects/programs that are related to the mission and function of the J62 PEO Portfolio's and organizations that oversee the Service Now Platform, associated products and programs, for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Serves as Project Manager for assigned Acquisition systems and/or related acquisition projects.
    • Responsible for all aspects of acquisition process, such as development, testing, system integration, configuration, enhancements, sustainment and product improvements.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Project Manager, your resume and supporting documentation must include: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Develops mid-and long-range plans and provides central oversight for technical and functional enhancements to operating systems. - Develops, documents, and operates both internal processes and administrative and/or technical controls. - Provides detailed analytical review for assigned projects and develops milestones from planning through project completion for IT related initiatives. - Coordinates project planning, design, and implementation of competitive and non-competitive acquisitions for projects of varying scope and complexity and including the more complex IT automated systems. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
