    Major Duties

    • Assist in the planning markets and conducts an ongoing program to provide conditioning programs for facility users.
    • Instructs in the proper conditioning and training for aerobic and muscular fitness, and flexibility.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualification Summary

    Standard Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience that enables the candidate to independently carry out a basic physical fitness program, or a Fitness or Personal Trainer Certificate. The experience and certification "Must" be reflected on your resume or your current valid certification "Must" be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. Highly Qualified: Successful completion of an undergraduate or graduate degree in related fields such as Exercise Science, Physical Education or Kinesiology. Certification in Specialized Program Instructor Areas i.e. Individualized Fitness Assessment, Benefits of Exercise, and Group Exercise, Zumba certification, NASM-CPT, CSC, TSAC-F. The degree/transcripts or certifications "Must" be uploaded at the time of application to be considered Highly Preferred for this position. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request.
