Major Duties

• Directs the Audit Sustainment Support Division by supervising a team of logistic analysts, managing workloads, and setting priorities to achieve audit readiness and sustainment goals.
• Manages and provides oversight for DLA Energy's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) programs, ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls for both financial and operational processes.
• Establishes and maintains collaboration within DLA Energy and across other process areas to ensure the successful execution and completion of financial audits.
• Provides leadership and support to division offices, reports on program status and accomplishments to DLA Headquarters and the DLA Energy Command Group, and promotes the development of an agency-wide knowledge base.

Qualification Summary

To qualify for a Supervisory Auditability Sustainment Specialist your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Experience providing expert advisory services to senior leadership on financial statement audits, audit remediation, and sustainment strategies. This includes ensuring process compliance and audit integrity across enterprise business cycles such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Plan-to-Stock (P2S), and Order-to-Cash (O2C). Experience managing an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program in accordance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123. This includes overseeing internal control testing, coordinating corrective action plans to address audit deficiencies, and ensuring compliance with agency-wide reporting requirements. Experience leading a team responsible for financial audit sustainment, to include coordinating with external auditors, fulfilling requests for supporting documentation, and overseeing the execution of milestones to resolve audit findings and recommendations. Experience applying process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS), to identify and resolve gaps in business processes, champion change management initiatives, and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations.
