    Major Duties

    • Serves as the Audit Sustainment Branch Chief in the Business Support Directorate within DLA Disposition Services, leading a team overseeing the coordination of all audit activities and the publishing of all organizational issuances and forms.
    • Oversees the development, coordination, and monitoring of audit corrective action plans through the management of cross functional teams throughout the organization and in alignment with higher HQ tactical and strategic goals.
    • Evaluates and assesses processes to identify opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Serves as the audit and internal control subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and advice to managerial chain of command
    • Briefs peers and supervisory chain of command and represents DLA Disposition Services at command meetings.
    • Trains, mentors, and builds cohesion among audit sustainment team members and subordinates.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Performing audit response and remediation. Analyzing internal/external audit deficiencies, performing root cause analysis, and developing and implementing corrective action plans. Conducting audit liaison activities, encompassing the delivery of requested documents in a timely manner and other coordination activities. Developing and briefing reports and presentations for organizational management & leadership, outlining program, operational and financial improvement opportunities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
