    Major Duties

    • Leads planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising administrative and staff functions for a Storage and Distribution branch.
    • Oversee review and analysis, resource management, internal controls, personnel services, forms and publications, equipment, supplies, vehicle monitoring, and inter-service support agreements.
    • Supervises delivery, receipt, storage, and distribution of DLA and service-owned material, including non-standard specialized items.
    • Plans, establishes, and manages efficient and economical programs such as Quality Control, Document Processing, Inventory Accuracy, Accountability, and Stock Readiness.
    • Analyzes operations and recommends improvements by adapting existing or new technology to inventory and material storage systems at branch and regional levels.
    • Conducts research and analysis using DSS, management information systems, automated supply systems, computer applications, principles, and techniques.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Analyzing, evaluating, and recommending solutions to problems in an organizational structure related to supply, storage and distribution support. Taking corrective action on stock surveillance, product integrity, process movement and distribution process issues. Utilizing supply systems (i.e. DSS, D035, SAP, COPA, NIMMS, EBS) including system functionality and business capabilities. Analyzing inventory and material storage systems for efficiency and effectiveness. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
