    Major Duties

    • Serves as the Financial Resource Branch Chief for DLA Disposition Services in the Resource Management Directorate.
    • Seeks and obtains approvals for new programs and revised directions through collaboration with leadership resulting in clearly defined documentation.
    • Responsible for overseeing the financial plans and forecasts.
    • Responsible for human capital programs in the operational realm (e.g., EAGLE, DTS, GTCC).
    • Serves as administrator and principal advisor to the agencies Deputy Director of Resource Management.
    • Responsible for research, analysis, and recommendations and establishment of new programs based on shifts in the strategic direction of DLA Disposition Services to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Developing provisions of personnel management programs such as overtime policies and practices, labor management relations, safety and health practices and internal control programs. - Analyzing overall operations of assigned programs to evaluate their effectiveness in managing people, dollars, and materials. - Providing recommendations as to selection, promotion, transfer, commendation and discipline of subordinate personnel. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
