Major Duties

• Serves as the Director of the Compliance, Financial Audit, and Infrastructure Management Directorate, DLA Distribution.
• Oversees the work of multiple subordinate divisions.
• Provides support to the Military Services annual financial statement audits where DLA Distribution forward site personnel are involved.
• Acts as the execution arm for DLA Distribution Commander/Deputy Commander for the overall program management and integration of all Capital and Non-Capital Equipment requirements for 24 distribution Centers.
• Manages storage space to include facility optimization programs and storage space improvement projects and initiatives.
• Serves as the primary advisor to DLA Distribution Commander/Deputy Commander for all Compliance Program and audit improvement efforts to include oversight of DLA Distribution's Quality Control Program.
• Fosters innovation in strategic and functional process to improve efficiencies and effectiveness across the Enterprise, as well as the DLA Storage and Distribution operations.
• Oversees, manages, and performs testing of Storage and Distribution manual and systems internal controls (Test of Design and Test of Effectiveness) in accordance with the Office of Management and Budget (0MB).
• Ensures compliance across all of DLA Distribution.
