    Major Duties

    • As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (SoD) you will be responsible for the following duties:
    • Serves as the supervisor of the Segregation of Duties (SoD) Program Division reporting to the DLA Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) within DLA J8 Finance under the DLA Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Headquarters Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
    • Provide oversight, synchronize, integrate and report activities pertaining to SoD framework.
    • Identifies requirements, plans, organizes, and makes recommendations regarding the application of authorized personnel resources.
    • Prepares and presents justifications for organization structure, manpower, budgetary, and personnel requirements to the DLA DCFO which are intended to accomplish the assigned mission and functions.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst (SoD), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-15 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Provides overall program management of audit-related risks. Implements continuous process improvement initiatives and oversees management internal controls. Provides oversight, manages, and performs testing of manual and systems internal controls. Identifying problem areas, coordinating corrective action, and effecting changes and improvements as necessary. Planning and assigning work, setting priorities and performance expectations, and evaluating work of employees. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
