    Major Duties

    • Serves as a Navy Retail Business Process Analyst for Industrial Support Activity (ISA) production and maintenance operations, providing expert functional and technical support across retail supply activities and Military Wholesale Order Management.
    • Provides subject matter expertise for supply operations within Order Fulfillment, establishing goals and metrics with Process partners, and performs complex analytical work to resolve issues outside established procedures.
    • Evaluates, designs, and enhances automated supply systems by conducting functional and technical assessments; translates operational requirements into specifications to guide developers in automating processes and improving system functionality.
    • Interprets changes in supply policies and procedures to assess impacts on retail operations and Order Management, and monitors compliance by analyzing performance trends and preparing reports that outline risks, deficiencies, and recommendations.
    • Communicates Order Fulfillment concepts to internal and external stakeholders, implements updated policies and workflows through effective change management, and documents end-to-end audit readiness processes.
    • Provides timely and accurate responses to auditor inquiries and drives the prompt implementation of corrective action plans to resolve identified audit deficiencies.
    • Creates instructional materials, delivers training on new procedures and system enhancements, and develops supplemental guidance and updates when existing instructions do not meet operational needs.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Demonstrating subject matter expertise in supply chain, logistics, research, requisitioning, expediting, and supply data analysis. Providing problem resolutions to end-users who request assistance with Navy and DLA Supply Systems (e.g., NDMS, ERP, EBS/S4, SAP, WMS). Auditing end-to-end processes and conducting root cause analyses to resolve non-standard supply chain and order management issues, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to implement corrective actions. Developing and delivering training on new or updated systems, policies, and processes. Delivering data-driven briefings to leadership on supply performance trends and operational targets. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
