    Major Duties

    • Serves as a functional expert who facilitates the end-to-end business cycle design as fully synchronized with the agency’s continually evolving strategic direction and transformational programs.
    • Integrates and collaborates with other functional areas to deliver cross functional solutions to end-to-end problems.
    • Targets and reduces wasted time and decrease costs by proactively managing handoffs between functions and reducing fragmentation, ensuring end-to-end processes are standing, efficient, and controlled.
    • Ensures initiatives, processes, and procedures are properly elevated for Process Owner review and approval of recommended options for resolution, including the validation of corrective actions.
    • Analyzes and evaluates enterprise-wide aspects of process performance and policy effectiveness in the planning and stratification process areas, and their interrelationships with other initiatives throughout the agency.
    • Leads and conducts reviews of enterprise-wide process performance, functional programs, systems and policies.
    • Ensures processes are well documented, regularly maintained, and in compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Performing audit readiness end-to-end processes within a process management functional area to include manual and system processes and their associated internal controls. Performing materiel management functions in order to formulate execution strategies and policies, evaluate current and proposed process improvements, and identify new and improved applications and plans for long range efficiency enhancements. Utilizes technical foundations of materiel management concepts to perform analytical and quantitative techniques, such as trend analysis, risk analysis requirements, forecasting, and inventory theory. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
