    Major Duties

    • Developing and maintaining the DLA enterprise Risk Management Framework Program in support of the DLA Security Control Assessor (SCA) and DLA Authorizing Official (AO).
    • Implementation of appropriate security controls through the development, coordination, and publication of Enterprise cybersecurity policy in support of adherence and compliance with DoD CS policy.
    • Ensures the applicable execution of technical reviews and analysis of information system designs, configurations, risk assessments, and security control evaluations.
    • As the first level supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for planning the work to be accomplished by the members of the CS Policy and Oversight branch.

    Qualification Summary

    To qualify for a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: - Overseas and directs the security and resilience of the Agency's networks, major applications, and critical supporting infrastructure within cyberspace on behalf and in direct support of the Agency's complex and ever evolving CS Program. - The development, coordination, and publishing of Agency-level CS policy to support compliant with the DoD directives, instructions, regulation, and policy memoranda. - Experience developing and maintaining the Agency enterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF) program, including POA&M management and authorization recommendations. B. Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: 1. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
