Inside Sales Specialist JOB SUMMARY 3D Systems is looking for a highly motivated and confident account manager with the ability to grasp complex product knowledge and application logic. This person should be a self-starter with the ability to identify and develop new customer relationships. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS * Proactively prospect, qualify, and close new and existing business accounts * Ensure effective communication with the customer or prospect to set appropriate expectations for a qualified solution to meet their needs * Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets * Follow up and maintain an accurate sales forecast * Communicate all necessary information gathered during the sales process to the manufacturing facility for successful project completion * Maintain current and accurate information in the CRM system for all customers and contacts * Effectively execute the strategies developed by management EDUCATION & TRAINING Associates degree, preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing, or equivalent job experience _ EXPERIENCE_ * At least one year of experience in a professional office setting * Experience selling products and/or services over the phone * Experience with 2D or 3D CAD software * Experience in Engineering and Manufacturing industries preferred * Specific experience within the rapid prototyping/rapid manufacturing industries is highly desirable KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES * Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent written and oral communications skills required * Requires an ambitious and optimistic personality with a can do approach to selling in a competitive environment * Disciplined work ethic with sharp attention to detail * Ability to work with limited supervision * Highly developed problem solving skills with the determination to solve them in a timely manner **Primary Location: **US-CA-San Diego **Work Locations: ** **Organization: **3D Systems Inc. **Job Level: **Individual Contributor **Job Posting: **Jan 4, 2019, 7:38:11 PM **Travel: **No
