    JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator, Council Effectiveness

    REPORTS TO: Director, Council Support

    FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Part-time (30 hours, schedule negotiable)

    SALARY: $18–$21 per hour, plus benefits

    DEPARTMENT: Council Effectiveness

     

    SUMMARY: Camp Fire, a national nonprofit youth development organization, is seeking to fill this position, which supports the work of the Council Effectiveness department.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

    Council Effectiveness Department Support:

    • Provide administrative support to include verbal and written correspondence and reports. Assist with coordinating meetings internally and externally for department staff.

    • Manage corporate compliance reporting process through a web-based Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce).

    • Ensure councils are meeting all national reporting requirements.

    • Manage council contacts information in Salesforce.

    • Support the welcome process for new council board chairs and CEOs.

    • Provide administrative support to council bylaws review process.

    • Provide administrative support for council assessment process.

    • Provide administrative support for Key Market Initiative.

    • Manage the awarding process for Camp Fire’s highest youth achievement award.

    • Monitor the organization’s public website email messages.

    • Maintain the organization’s Information Resource Book and national headquarters’ calendar and contracts list for councils.

    • Other duties may be assigned.

    • Assist with various projects, such as mailings, taking meeting notes, and preparing for national events.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    LANGUAGE ABILITY

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Editing experience is preferred.

    MATH ABILITY

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software (Salesforce experience preferred).
