The Showroom Intern works with customers in the showroom and guides them through the final selection process to complete the work order (material type, edge profile, sinks, etc.) This includes helping the customer find what they want, create solutions, and ensuring the work order is completed with all the details needed to execute the project successfully. Responsibilities: * Welcome customers, visitors and delivery people in a friendly/professional manner, and directing them to the appropriate associates * Assist customer walk-ins and scheduled appointments with associated countertop selections. This includes answering questions and educating customer with product knowledge * Maintain showroom appearance for appointments at all times. Including keeping samples stocked and organizing the storage area to ensure efficiency * In a timely manner, ensure that all work order paperwork is complete and accurate for further processing * Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls in a timely manner * Provide administrative duties using the computer to register warranties * Support the coordination of sales focused events such as trade shows, networking events, showroom hosted events and special sales promotions. Provide input and suggestion for each * Participant and contribute feedback to the companys continuous improvement processes to better serve all stakeholders of the company Requirements: * Entry level interior design experience preferred.
