Kelaca is looking for a Digital Communications Specialist for our client partner, the Family Heart Foundation in Chapel Hill, NC.

    ?? Why This Role Exists

When Katherine Wilemon survived a heart attack at 39 – just as she became a new mother – she discovered her risk wasn’t random. It was inherited. And it could be passed down to her children.

    That moment launched a movement.

The Family Heart Foundation exists to break the silence around genetic lipid conditions like familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and elevated Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)], which often go undetected until it’s too late. These aren’t just medical conditions – they’re family legacies.

This role is responsible for reaching new people and connecting them with the Family Heart Foundation. Amplify the science. Reach the families who don’t yet know their risk but still have time to act.
