Responsibilities: * Keeping up to date with corporate eSports sponsorships, professional gaming news and standings, and the gaming industry as a whole * Assist in the development of league infrastructures * Planning and executing amateur league events * Analysis of amateur league events Basic Qualifications: What we are looking for * Basic knowledge of the eSports industry and landscape * Be current on latest gaming trends, channels and best practices * Ability to manage through conflict, complexity, and to problem-solve issues to resolution * Ability to take direction, work independently, multitask, and adapt to change * Keen eye for details is a must Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with or willingness to learn about: major gaming developers, major gaming hardware brands, major game titles, and other gaming/eSports brands * At least 50 hours logged on any game * Experience with and understanding of data analytics and its application preferred * Experience or interest in working with youth and running eSports events Additional Information: * Candidate must be available to work approximately 10-15 hours per week for the duration of the internship - full availability preferred. * Able to provide own transportation to the Pasadena area * Must possess unrestricted work authorization * Must be at least 18 years of age Required Materials - resume and cover letter must be submitted at time of application.
