Position: GRAPHIC DESIGNER INTERN Product, Packaging, Image Seeking a high energy and enthusiastic graphic designer to join our growing product development team. Designer should enjoy a fast-paced and creative environment. Candidates will be expected to bring innovative, fresh and exciting ideas to various projects including packaging design, displays, instructions, stationery items and other products for the tween toy and gift market. This is a full-time internship with the potential to grow into a junior graphic designer position. Candidates must have a passion for design, photography & enjoy working in a team environment and love to seek out the latest trends. Responsibilities/Duties * Photograph products, touch-up photos & set up images for print & web. * Create original designs, illustrations, drawings, and/or renderings, for products, packaging, marketing materials and other assignments. * Work with team to concept new product ideas and explore possible packaging solutions. * Manage and follow-up on assignments, project details and timelines. * Properly set-up, create, edit, and organize project files. * Update packaging or product art to comply with latest FA standards and required labeling. * Report project status and issues. * Adherence to all company and department policies. * Adherence to advised safety practices and workspace maintenance. Minimum qualifications * BFA, BA, or degree in graphic design, illustration or related field. * 1+ years professional design experience. * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign. General skills in digital photography, rendering, illustration and Microsoft Office programs. * Versatile illustration style and ability to adapt style per assignment need. * Strong creative skills that can be applied to innovative tween girl products & package design. * Must have eye for fashion-forward trends, colors, patterns & photography. * Ability to concept and execute new innovative product ideas. * Skill & experience with photography, photo touch-up & proper image set up. * Ability to properly set up files and organizational skills. * Ability to multi-task and meet project timelines. * Ability to communicate project status, keep track of project details and follow through on projects to meet company standards. * Ability to accept constructive criticism well and offer solutions. * Willingness to learn and expand skill set as required for projects. * Ability to work independently to complete projects and problem solve, as well as work cooperatively on team projects. * Willingness to follow all company and department policies Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship Salary: $11.00 /hour 6 hours ago - save job
