GoGo squeeZ is growing fast, & were always looking for a few good men, women, or apples JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: HR Intern Reports to: HR Generalist Key Internal Partners: HR team, Employees in all departments Key External Partners: Candidates, external vendors Dates: July 9th through November 30th. 28 hours per week. $15 per hour. Job Summary: The HR Intern provides support to the Corporate Human Resources team reporting directly to the HR Generalist. This role works collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with all departments. The HR Intern will develop skills in Internal Communication, Employee Engagement projects, and recruiting. Candidates must have a significant customer first orientation, excellent presentation, strong organization skills, keen attention to detail, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Job Responsibilities & Tasks: * Assist HR Generalist with recruiting coordination for salaried and hourly-professional assigned positions across 3 locations * Post jobs, review resumes, phone screen candidates, schedule interviews, prepare interview packets, and participate in in-person interviews as needed * Assist with new hire orientation, set up personnel files and prepare new hire paperwork * Support Payroll & Benefits initiatives * Support Wellness Program and Wellness Fair across 3 locations * Assist Payroll & Benefits Team with Open Enrollment * Partner with HR team on various engagement and communication projects * Prepare create impactful, concise, and error free presentations * Document new procedures and update existing procedures as needed * Regularly assess the climate and employee engagement. Make recommendations to improve and ensure a vibrant culture and good work environment. * Coordinate and participate in various events and community relations activities (occasionally outside of normal work hours) * All other duties as assigned Key Performance Indicator (KPI): * Project Deadlines * Quality of work Position Requirements: EDUCATION * Pursuing a Bachelor or Masters degree in Human Resources or related field SKILLS * Knowledge of Human Resources principles and procedures * Advanced oral and written communication skills * Ability to operate standard office equipment (printer, scanner, copier, etc.) * Knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn and navigate other computer systems * Attention to detail & strong problem-solving skills * Strong sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations * High sense of urgency and flexibility * Strong customer service skills and a collaborative approach PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS * Must be able to work in normal office conditions
