Marketing Internship at Granular Champaign, IL Granular is the leading software and analytics company for agriculture. Our products help farmers get access to land, make more efficient use of inputs, and make better business decisions. We currently have offices in San Francisco, CA, Champaign, IL and Des Moines, IA. Were growing quickly and looking for a Summer Intern to play a key part in an internal media campaign. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team by researching and creating video, and other assets, around our customer testimonials and their achievements. You will work with the Marketing team, while collaborating with our Learning & Development manager, to identify individuals, design materials & resources around them, and then plan a distribution campaign. You will receive high-quality coaching in all these areas, and gain valuable media experience. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, positive, creative, and performance-driven self-starter who can work independently. RESPONSIBILITIES Support our Marketing team by collecting, researching, capturing and/or distributing resources on current individuals in farming and their achievements Identify, research, and implement best technical methods of resource creation to meet marketing and media needs Support our learning team by designing and building an easy access video library from the resources created Other duties, as assigned Work out of our Champaign, IL or our San Francisco, CA office (Remote applicants will also be considered) OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program, at a leading university with a recognized agricultural reputation Some knowledge of the agricultural landscape, either through job experience, community background or current studies Comfortable calling farmers and media professionals to investigate campaign details Track record of academic excellence Strong technical & high attention to detail skills Demonstrated ability to research and problem solve with minimal oversight Previous mixed media experience is strongly preferred General familiarity with the Google suite (Drive, gmail, etc.) and basic video applications (QuickTime, etc.) is preferred but not required Available to work 40 hours per week Amount of travel (up to 10 days) would be negotiable, depending upon candidates location Socially confident and connective Goal-oriented and self-motivated Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills Comfortable in fast-paced environment
