Graphic Design Fall Intern Department: Marketing Location: Boston, MA START YOUR APPLICATION POSITION TITLE: Graphic Design Fall Intern FLSA: Part Time, Non Exempt REPORTS TO: Head of Design JOB GRADE: Pin PAY RATE: $11/hr HOURS: At minimum of 10 hours per week, Monday Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m., prefer routine schedule, some flexibility available. Some evening and weekend work required POSITION OVERVIEW Harpoon is currently seeking a Graphic Design Intern for the Fall to join our amazing Employee-Owned team! The Graphic Design Intern will work along our In-House Design Team working on an array of design and promotion projects while obtaining hands-on experience in the field along with real-world projects to add to your portfolio. JOB DUTIES This role is comprised of, but not limited to, the following duties: * Design: Includes design and creation of advertisements, points of sale, signs, banners, website graphics, etc. * Photography: Assist staff photographer during photo shoots * Production: Create and print signage for Marketing * Events & Promotions: Work with the rest of the marketing team to prepare and execute evening and weekend promotions in and around Boston and New England. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: * Actively pursuing a degree in graphic design, art, or a related field. * Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, with a high competency in both Illustrator and Photoshop. An ideal candidate will be comfortable in designing both for print and web. * Must be at least 21 years old. * Highly organized and energetic. * Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer and craft beer drinkers.
