Entry Level Interior designer Interior Inspirations by Julie Gelsey - Manhattan Beach, CA JOB TITLE: Design Associate Supervisor: Principal Description: Looking to fill an Entry level Interior Designer position. Training in Interior Design field. To support and participate with a design team in creating functionally beautiful spaces for residential and commercial clients while using industry knowledge, design experience, innovative design concepts and creativity, keeping within Interior Inspirations aesthetic. RESPONSIBILITIES: -To work on projects from all phases of design through installation, including, but not limited to AutoCad drawings, sourcing, and procurement, scheduling and negotiating. - Work directly with team to create and present presentation boards to include drawings, furniture boards, FF & E, surface materials, color palettes and lighting. -Generate plan specifications based on client needs and contract requirements -Generate finish plans, specifications and material selections needed for construction -Provide design support and administration during completion and execution of design concepts. -Manage multiple projects -Graphic and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas. Qualifications -0-3 years Interior Design experience. - Bachelors degree in Interior Design -Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch up, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office -Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections and specifications -Team Player, Interior Inspirations works as a team. -Ability to multitask, work independently, as well as a team. -Great at follow through -Experience with retail is considered an asset.
