    Kelaca is looking for a Part-Time Fitness Center Coordinator for our client partner in Raleigh, NC. The Company’s new headquarters in Raleigh includes an on-site state-of-the-art fitness center and sports complex, which includes a basketball & volleyball indoor gymnasium, group fitness classes, a gym with cardio and weight machines, an Olympic-sized soccer field, and outdoor tennis/pickleball/basketball courts.

    The Company is seeking an enthusiastic and eager part-time fitness center coordinator to join their team to support these world-class fitness facilities! The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, exercise, and employee wellbeing, and a desire to help others.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Fitness Facility Management: Support the daily operations of the fitness center, including ensuring common areas and locker rooms are organized, clean, and stocked with fresh towels. Monitor fitness center activity and ensure safety rules and regulations are being followed.
    • Company Engagement & Customer Service: Staff the front desk of the fitness center during peak lunchtime hours on weekdays, to greet and assist employees with questions or concerns.
    • Sports Equipment Organization: Assist with check in/out of sports equipment including basketballs, volleyballs, rackets, cones, etc. Ensure sports equipment is organized and accounted for after checkout.
    • Fitness Machine Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on proper use of equipment, exercise techniques, and fitness goal-setting, and encourage safe and responsible usage of equipment and machines to prevent injury.
    • Group Fitness Class Coordination: Coordinate group class schedules and sign-ups, and work with class instructors & Company nutritionist to publicize and notify attendees of any schedule changes or new class or program offerings
    • Vendor Relations: Greet vendors & manage relationships with fitness equipment suppliers, maintenance contractors, and other relevant visiting vendors to ensure quality service and support. Notify Company wellness leaders & outside vendors of any equipment issues or facilities support needs.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Education: Our ideal candidate is someone actively working on their Bachelor’s in a field like Exercise & Sports Science or equivalent. High school degree or equivalent required.
    • Demonstrated customer service experience required; fitness or service environment preferred.
    • Exercise science and proper form technique
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • CPR/FA/AED certified

    Hours of Work in Office: Monday-Friday; 11am-2pm

    FLSA Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
