Kelaca is looking for a Geotechnical Senior Engineer (Principal) in Fort Worth, TX or Dallas, TX.

As a Geotechnical Senior Engineer (Principal), you strive to lead both your team and your profits. You have a dynamic and extensive background in the geotechnical consulting field and are capable of completing an array of different tasks. The consulting side of our business is what you thrive on; geotechnical engineering, project management, and investigations and reviews have made up a large portion of your career. The junior and senior engineering staff look to you for mentoring both technically and in building client relationships. Your positive interactions with clients as well as business development skills contribute tremendously. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to success. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:

• Managing and mentoring of geotechnical engineering staff
• Working with both geotechnical and construction materials testing (CMT) staff and projects
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports
• Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services
• Geotechnical engineering in a consulting setting
• Taking the lead in marketing and business development

   

  What We're Looking For

• Principal designation will occur after management approval and Board endorsement
• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering – other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited
• 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Job Type: Full-time

Hours of Work in Office: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt
