Job Description The Product Development and Production Assistantis a TEMPORARY role that will assist the PD Manager and Senior Production Manager in all aspects of footwear product development and production. * Generates and processes all incoming and outgoing shipments. Tracks all shipments to watch for delays and ensure timely deliveries * Maintains PLM material database * Maintains material library on an ongoing basis according to the system in place * Creates and maintains seasonal material binders for development and production * Maintains all supplies, functions and orderliness of the product development department on an ongoing basis * Assists with production reporting and updating of AX system * Provides support and assistance to product development department for all runway show meetings, development, preparation and execution * Provides support and assistance to product development department for all THE meetings, development, preparation and execution * Provides assistance to VP with development expense reporting * Travel to material trade shows based on performance * Assists in issuing purchase orders Qualifications * Bachelors Degree * 2 years work experience * Experience with leather, fabric and/or trims a plus * Excellent written amp; verbal communications * Excellent time management amp; organizational skills * Team Player aptitude a MUST * Proficient with MS Office programs * Good working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop a plus Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
