An excellent opportunity to work with a privately held company in food manufacturing. Leading the charge in sustainability, this company is searching for a Research and Development Lead specifically dedicated to helping with the commercialization of products.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage good communication and relationship with customers and provide support in new product development and commercialization processes.
- Manage commercialization team at the facility and provide technical support to other facilities
- Work closely with Account Managers, Procurement, National Analysts and QA teams in rolling out new products and transition of existing products.
- Work effectively with different departments to scale up and develop processes as preparation for product launches.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in High-Volume Food Manufacturing Facility. Scale-up experience is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biological Sciences, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
- Knowledge of ingredient functionality, product formulations, and food preparation.
- Knowledge of Federal Regulations how they impact/apply to specific product categories (FDA, USDA, organic, kosher, various industry standards)
