    Job Description

    Interns add real value to Pluralsight through data-driven insights and recommendations on key business challenges. This intern role will support Account Development initiatives that impact our sales business. This Sales Intern role is the ideal training ground for aspiring Account Executives at Pluralsight.

    Account Development Managers are the frontline representatives of the company, they are brand ambassadors, and the customers first personal interaction with Pluralsight. As a Sales Intern you will be working side by side with our ADM team to deliver and find ways to meet/exceed quota.

    WHAT YOU'LL OWN:

    ●      Outbound prospecting to companies via cold calling and email

    ●      Follow up on inbound leads and campaign inquiries and provide detailed feedback on the success of each campaign to the digital and field marketing groups

    ●      Follow-up on all captured leads from marketing events and activities

    ●      Help develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas

    ●      Research target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity

    ●      Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce.com

    ●      Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Pluralsight platform

    ●      Capture and report on industry trends and competitive intelligence

    ●      Identify and profile customers in a natural, conversational way (i.e. address, fax number, email address)

    ●      Qualify leads to support ADMs

    ●      Support team efforts for Pluralsight Live user conference

    ●      Prospect into existing database and ensure accurate record

    ●      Attend weekly meetings with ADMs and Business Development Leadership

    EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:

    ●      Going into Junior or Senior year

    ●      Sales, Marketing, and Business majors preferred, but will consider others

    ●      Preferred but not required to have one year experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, Sales, and/or Marketing. Could be fulfilled by course work or previous experience

    ●      Preferred but not required to have a proven track record achieving measurable inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system is required

    ●      Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player

    ●      Ability to effectively communicate with senior level decision makers required, both verbal and written

    ●      Excellent presentation skills

    ●      Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills

    ●      A self-starter with a track record of being their word

    ●      Preferred but not required to have experience using Salesforce.com and LinkedIn

    ●      Have a work hard/play hard mentality and thrive in a start-up environment
