    Job Description

    We are seeking a very experienced network professional to join our Information Technology team and be an integral part of building and expanding our infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Networking, this person will work closely with many parts of the business, including IT, Support, People and Places, and Finance. Their primary focus will be on enabling business IT operations, managing risk, implementing technologies and building operational practices. As a Principal Network Engineer, you will also be involved in most projects and investigating potential incidents.

    WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

    • Installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and service continuity of our enterprise network infrastructure at all office locations globally
    • Ensure stable and reliable ISP networking services
    • Day to day network performance monitoring
    • Network troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Hardware troubleshooting and repair
    • Deployment and maintenance of networking monitoring, analysis and reporting tools
    • Application of network configuration changes following a standard project management methodology
    • Installation and maintenance of networking hardware and software: routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.
    • Design and architecture of wireless networking for optimal service and scalability
    • Assist with broader information technology requirements and build outs
    • Mentor other team members on networking best practices

    EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:

    • 10+ years of senior experience with networking in a high-tech corporate environment
    • 10+ years of experience with enterprise Cisco networking hardware and software
    • 10+ years of experience with rollout of wireless networking within a corporate environment
    • Strong attention to detail with ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
    • Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously both independently and within a team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Customer-focused, service-oriented and positive team-aligned attitude
    • Ability to thrive in high demand, high pressure situations
