Job Description
The QA Analyst assists the Quality Assurance team with the testing of emails, web applications, and more. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of work experience using various operating systems on desktops, tablets and phones.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Assist the Quality Assurance team with testing emails and web applications across numerous browsers on computers, tablets and phones for assigned client projects
- Analyze Design, Functional, and Tech Specification Documentation
- Design and Write Test Cases
- Execute Manual Functional and Non-Functional Testing
- Document and track bugs in our central tracking systems (Jira and Confluence)
- Learn new tools and systems on a constant basis
- Manage multiple testing assignments taking direction from team leadership and working collaboratively with other QA Analysts
- Clearly communicate progress on assignments to assigned supervisor or team members, as appropriate, bringing issues to the team’s attention proactively
- Take the initiative to learn all aspects of Quality Assurance and support the team on all necessary areas of delivery for our clients
WHO YOU ARE:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent work experience preferred
- You have 2+ years of work experience using various operating systems on desktops, tablets and phones
- You have a deep understanding of what web browsers are and what they do
- You have experience using various operating systems on desktops, tablets, and phones is desired
- You have experience conducting Accessibility Testing
- You are available immediately and are able to work west coast based hours
- You pay excellent attention to detail, an ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks, clear, and the ability to multi-task across assignments on tight deadlines
- You have an interest in the inner details of web development, programming and software testing
- You have effective communication skills
- You are Passionate about technology
- You enjoy tinkering and figuring out "how things work"

- You have strong listening skills with the ability to take direction well
- You have an analytical mindset that you can apply to solve problems
- You are proactive, eager to learn, and take the initiative
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools
