    Job Description

    We are looking for an Associate Creative Director, Design to craft immersive interactions and experiences for the built environment that deliver the integrated customer experience for our Physical & Digital specialized capability team. Our team of experts work remotely or in one of our NA offices, preferred West Coast (once we re-open).

    The Associate Creative Director is responsible for delivering work as well as for the leadership and management of a creative team including providing creative direction that is on-strategy and on-brand. The Associate Creative Director takes briefs and collaborates with the Account Services, Strategy, Technology and Creative Departments, such as Experience Design, physical and digital Design to develop innovative concepts and strategies, and execute concepts through rounds of development. 

    What You'll Do:

    • Ensure concepts developed by the agency are on strategy, practical, feasible and cost-effective to produce in collaboration with Technology and Program Management

    • Ensure the creative work of the agency is produced to the highest standards of accuracy and quality control

    • Ensure the creative work is state-of-the-art and pushing the boundaries of immersive experiences

    • Assist in the development of creative work for new business pitches

    • Present creative work to clients as needed

    • Collaborate with Copywriters, Creative Technology and Experience Design to develop concepts on a day-to-day base

    • Be responsible for the creation, conceptualization and design of immersive projects, such as reactive and multi-sensorial experiences as well as dynamic digital signage for retail clients

    • Remain up to date on the latest developments in emerging technologies and innovation

    • Recommend improvements and changes to the agency's processes and procedures and employ best practices

    • Develop and grow the skills and experience of the creative team and assist in the development of design principles and playbook to articulate our way of working

    • Recommend, seek and hire new talent as required

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • You have a bachelor 's degree in Visual Design and/or Experience Design or equivalent work experience preferred

    • You have 7 or more years of experience in an art or design direction role at a design firm or brand studio with focus on immersive experiences or at a digital marketing agency with focus physical & digital and/or retail.

    • You have a deep understanding of integrated digital and physical experience principles

    • You have proven staff management skills with experience in handling direct reports

    • You are highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects, and allocate work to the remainder of the team

    • You have a strong understanding of strategic direction and how to uphold a brand promise in experiential ways 

    • You have excellent conceptual and design skills, including typography

    • You have a high level of understanding in visual and interaction design, including motion design and generative design in order to guide experts

    • You are highly skilled and efficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite including the ability to make changes quickly and accurately

    • You are skilled to create appealing presentations in keynote, powerpoint and collaborative documents such as google docs

    • You are very accurate with a high attention to detail and with a big picture in mind

    • You have excellent visual and verbal communication skills

    • You are a highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude, proactive and solution-oriented

    • You have a robust, cross-channel portfolio with focus on physical & digital experiences as part of the integrated customer journey
