    Job Description

    Razorfish is hiring an Associate Creative Director in Experience Design to lead a team of experience designers across multiple tracks of related work for one client in the alcohol and distribution market.  

    You are accountable for providing Experience Design oversight on each track of work where projects can be large or small. Large projects operate in a scaled agile delivery model where your team assesses what stories they can handle per sprint to serve many product owners on the following tracks: 

    • Maintaining and evolving a commerce platform that generates almost a billion dollars in revenue. 

    • Maintaining and evolving and a CRM Salesforce platform while exploring experience that enable commerce opportunities that are personalized for customers.  

    • Establishing a design system that catalogues master components that are compatible with Adobe Experience Manager specifications.

     

    While much of your day is spent working with colleagues to help guide projects, you can often be found consulting with clients to align product owners with what is feasible and delivers business value and customer satisfaction. You can articulate the high level experience strategy for a project or account but can also get right down into the weeds and create exceptional UX deliverables. You mentor and manage Junior folks.  

    You have excellent soft skills to manage client expectations, translate their needs into effective solutions that address practical and ideal business solutions. Likewise, you can also manage internal team expectations on how to prioritize what is needed and where to push back accordingly based on feasibility, data driven insight and trust from your team. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Leads and balances multiple projects and/or work streams 

    • Responsible for interaction design, task flow, behaviour, and navigation design 

    • Demonstrates the information architecture and interaction design skills necessary to support client work 

    • Ideates, sketches, and prototypes for desktop, tablet and mobile devices 

    • Creates UX strategy, develops customer scenarios, conducts journey mapping and collaborates on persona development 

    • Collaborates with Consumer Insights, Analytics/Data Science, and clients to apply data and insights to UX design decisions and to determine UX success metrics & KPIs 

    • Contributes to estimation, project planning, practice development and new business pitches 

    • Actively collaborates in cross disciplinary idea generation and client co-creation sessions 

    • Articulates rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs 

    • Defines processes and deliverables that meet project goals and are reasonable within operational, cultural and technology constraints

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience working on complex software, transactional or ecommerce experiences, with medium to large-sized teams, preferably in a cross disciplinary digital agency 

    • 1+ years team management or team lead experience 

    • Led multidisciplinary sketching and ideation sessions with teams and clients 

    • Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies 

    • Familiar with scoping and estimating UX tasks 

    • Led the UX on a single, small to medium-size project (<$5M) and/or lead multiple tracks of work on large project ($5M+) 

    • Strong familiarity with AEM  

    • Familiar with retail commerce experience design patterns, bonus if familiar with with Hybris. 

    • Strong familiarity with Salesforce Lightning UI kit 

    • Strong familiarity with Zeplin, Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Design suite
