Job Description

As a digital agency, Razorfish uses digital technologies to create immersive digital, physical, and metaverse experiences for our clients that deliver marketing messaging and help our clients to grow their brands.  As a self-driven, fast-learning, and highly versatile Web3/Metaverse Engineer you will apply your talents to creating high quality metaverse experiences that will span technologies and platforms.  You will leverage your knowledge of 3D programming, animation, and web2 technologies to deliver immersive front-end experiences and you will leverage your knowledge in back-end databases and systems to airdrop NFTs and redeem utility NFTs.  There is a lot to do to create a Web3/Metaverse experience, but you won’t be doing it alone.  You will be supported by a world-class set of Producers, VFX artists, Directors of Photography, Art Directors, UX Designers, Copy Writers, and other Engineers.

Qualifications

·       3+ years professional development experience

·       Demonstrated experience with Unreal or Unity

·       Passion for Web3/Crypto technologies (Web3, Decentraland, IPFS, Smart Contracts, DAOs, Blockchain, etc.)

·       Expertise creating traditional Web2 experiences (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript)

·       Expertise creating immersive Web2 experiences (Canvas, WebGL, Three.js)

·       Expertise using one or more ‘headless CMS’ (Contentful, GraphCMS)

·       Node.js or similar

·       Eagerness to learn new technologies and techniques

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Publication of a Decentraland-based experience

·       Familiarity with Blender or similar

·       Ability to create pixel shaders and visual effects

·       Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP

·       Experience with Solidity

·       Large agency or professional services experience
