Job Description

Razorfish has an immediate need for a freelance Digital Product Manager to start ASAP and work on a 3+ month project. Freelancers will be considered for contract extension as well as conversion to FTE based on performance and budget.

PROJECT SUMMARY: Requirements analysis, synthesis and definition (business and technical) for mobile app design and development project.

JOB SUMMARY: As a Product Manager, you will help our clients develop and execute their product strategy. As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with the other product owners, client leadership, and the Razorfish leadership team to shape the direction and methodology used for capturing and managing requirements. This person has the ability to write high quality user stories and specifications and is comfortable working with and presenting to mid- to senior- level clients.

Product Managers work with small and medium sized projects independently and with minimal oversight. At this level, product managers should be able to understand product data (i.e., client data such as adobe analytics, google analytics, etc.) and determine benchmarks to be used to develop product success metrics. The product manager will work with relevant subject matter experts to ensure product success is data driven.

Product Managers should have a demonstrable understanding of the customer benefit the product or new functionality provides, be able to articulate the specific customer problems it’s solving, and be able to tie product metrics to business goals in a compelling way.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prioritize Features based on business and customer value
• Define and align Feature Roadmap and create Feature Backlog
• Write User Stories and define Acceptance Criteria
• Conduct Demos during delivery sprints
• Facilitate user testing during UAT
• Facilitate user training for Delivery and Load Puller App
• Defect analysis and fix validation during Support phase

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience, as a guide
• Able to clearly articulate the product or feature that you have managed
• Able to demonstrate experience in prioritizing features and explain the value model behind it
• Able to demonstrate strategic decision making by talking about roadmap, vision, goals, or the objective of a product
• Able to demonstrate experience in preparing backlog, writing user stories, and working with cross functional teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills 
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience with Agile software development and tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Ability to quickly understand business, evaluate priorities and assess value for business functionality
• Ability to guide clients in re-imagining their business processes
• Proven experience of working with multi-disciplinary (product owners, business users, technology, creative, etc.) and cross-functional teams
• Proven experience in the practice of product management (You have shipped)
• Desire to build great products and teach others to do the same
• Business strategy experience, digital preferred
