We’re hiring a SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST – LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION in GRAND RAPIDS, MI.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides strategic and analytical support and decision making for Logistics procurement. Oversees and manages carrier relationships based on segmentation. Accountable to ensure that applicable business results are met on behalf of all applicable stakeholders. Sponsors, manages and leads implementation of numerous projects relative to achieving business results expected of Logistics procurement. Develops, updates and implements short and long range strategic plans that identify cost benefit and major risk mitigation opportunities. Tracks internal and external information/data relative to Logistics procurement. Identifies opportunities for supply related cost control and performance improvement. The scope of the assigned responsibility will have a major cost impact/benefit on the company. Scope of responsibilities could have national and global impact.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
