    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Assistant Manager, Corporate Partnerships will partner with the ED, Philanthropic Partnerships and the Senior Manager, Philanthropic Partnerships in the development and execution of the Corporate Partnerships strategy, as well as supporting grantmaking across the function. This individual will be responsible for managing ELC’s Corporate Contributions budget and grantmaking execution, inclusive of corporate non-profit grants and partnerships, charitable events and sponsorships, associated product donations, Employee Resource Group community impact grants, and disaster response giving, as relevant. This position will also work closely with the ELCCF partnerships team to support broader social investments and strategic alignment across portfolio.      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Grantmaking and Partnerships:

    • Manage and oversee ELC’s corporate charitable giving budget, including forecasting and planning, and compliance with tax/legal regulations.  

    • Send and review grant proposals for various initiatives across the enterprise, and track and maintain ELC charitable contributions via grants management system.  

    • Liaise with non-profit partners and review all relevant applications. 

    • Drive vetting and due diligence on potential partners. 

    • Provide high-touch service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, including Executives.

    • Manage in-kind donations for related corporate partnerships or events.

     

    Data, Reporting, and Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Partner with Legal to track and report on ELC’s corporate contributions on behalf of the organization’s Board and Executive Committee members.   

    • Track measurement, evaluation, and data management of ELC’s charitable programs, including with outside data management platform vendor.

    • Lead communications with internal stakeholders and grantees around application processes & procedures, and reporting. 

    • Produce quantitative and qualitative reports on grant-making as needed.

    Strategic Support:

    • Offer support and guidance to functions, regions and brands to ensure all charitable contribution request requirements are met. 

    • Collaborate with allied functions to ensure strategic alignment and coordination. 

    • Provide support on ELCCF Board of Directors twice-annual meetings preparation and execution.

     

    Communications:

    • Support internal and external communications related to the company’s social investments and partnerships. 

    • Review and input messaging for social investments.

        QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree required. 

    • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in philanthropic program management, partnership development and relationship management, and/or grant-making experience. Experience in corporate communications is a plus.

    • Experience working in a multi-branded retail company or other industry with high-profile consumer brand, ideally with end-to-end product stewardship in a CPG company preferable. 

    • Strong relationship management skills, including high-touch internal and external stakeholder engagement and the ability to work collaboratively across organizations cultures.

    • Experience directing and prioritizing multiple, disparate projects simultaneously.  

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including excellent PowerPoint presentation skills, and strong analytical capabilities.

    • Ability to adapt and prioritize effectively around changing deadlines, and flexibility to support other business functions when required.

    • Highly analytical; can synthesize information and offer recommendations/solutions. 

    • Exceptional attention to detail. 

    • High ethical standards and commitment to core values of leadership, respect, and integrity.

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,000 to $104,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
