JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an assistant manager who will play a key role in our global marketing approach, operations, and initiatives. The assistant manager will be responsible for project managing our New Product Launch (NPL) calendar, working closely with various brand functions (e.g., Creative, Operations) and external teams to ensure timely progress. The assistant manager will also serve as a point person for trade marketing requests from our teams across all markets and will drive various brand projects and initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and have a significant impact on a fast-growing brand.
The position is based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, reporting to the Director of Global Marketing.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL MARKETING
· Manage the New Product Launch (NPL) calendar including maintaining, updating, and tracking key milestones across teams, including Creative, Product Development, Product Marketing, PR, Social, Education, etc.
· Maintain a 360 view of our marketing approach.
· Manage assets and develop go to market decks and communications for key launches and initiatives to markets; Ensure all assets and training materials are cascaded to markets in a timely manner.
· Work with agency to manage product description translations for multiple languages.
· Project manage and support various brand marketing / consumer engagement. initiatives, including Le Journal, internal and external gifting programs, and piloting new capabilities and programs.
· Review and analyze product launch / marketing initiative feedback; conduct periodic competitive analysis.
· Manage and facilitate meetings with partner teams, executing on relevant items.
TRADE / CONSUMER MARKETING:
· Drive trade marketing initiatives across markets, working closely with local and regional markets teams to brainstorm appropriate, alternative solutions to engage clients in a meaningful way. Ensure Brand retains core equity and cult positioning.
· Educate markets on what types of retail initiatives / activities are aligned with brand and manage incoming proposals.
· Serve as liaison between markets and Creative team, helping to focus market initiatives and work with Creative to prioritize.
OTHER:
· Liaise with Legal team to track progress on potential trademark, plagiarism, counterfeit issues for the brand.
· Support on sustainability strategy and help to drive cross functional task force to achieve dedicated goals and initiatives.
· Support roll-out of relevant data analytics tools and platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· College degree required.
· 4+ years of experience, ideally in marketing or project management.
· Familiarity with branding/beauty/fashion/entertainment a must.
· Exude passion for Le Labo and deeply appreciate and understand the Brand DNA and voice.
· Be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a team-player mindset.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
· Excellent project management and operational skills with the ability to multi-task.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to capture the unique tone of voice and visual cues / codes of the Brand.
· Highly developed PowerPoint and Excel skills, with an eye for formatting and presenting information in a digestible way.
· Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing quantitative data.
· Highly organized.
· Strong time management skills.
· Impeccable attention to detail.
· Entrepreneurial, “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $71,000 to $106,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
