    About the Job

    Play a critical role in global end-to-end marketing including product innovation, campaign conceptualization and 360 go-to-market strategy for key subcategories in the Estee Lauder face makeup category. Use market data and consumer insights to inform breakthrough product messaging and storytelling to resonate with diverse consumers. And spearhead execution of launches with multiple cross-functional and regional partners through exceptional leadership, project management and communication skills.

    About Your Responsibilities

    Support Product Launch Execution

    • Understand each stage of the new product launch process and the marketer’s role
    • Master internal systems to support product launch in partnership with global value chain
    • Conduct extensive competitive analysis on elements such as benefits, claims, texture, pricing, application and ingredients
    • Support team with executional details including but not limited to, pricing architecture, forecasting, COG targets in line with corporate goals, package brief, copy briefs, claims and ingredient/technology targets based on extensive competitive analysis and trends.
    • Manage ongoing COGs estimates throughout product development lifecycle through solution-oriented mindset to find opportunities for savings with value chain.
    • Play a key role in forecast process with GBP partner including preparing and leading sales deck, setting goals by regions, communicating updates to leadership throughout process, preparing and posting bulletin and ensuring all quantities are in by target date.
    • Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.

    Support 360 Campaign Briefs

    • Support development of makeup category creative briefs by sourcing inspiring examples from beauty and other industries through independent research and by keeping a pulse on all key social platforms as a user
    • Own product detail slides in briefs and VM claims and copy briefs
    • Partner with team to create seasonal campaign launch books

    Support in Global Strategy Development

    • Partner with the broader makeup team on major strategy decks to present global vision to regions, key markets and key retailers.
    • Remain relentlessly up-to-date on emerging and future trends across all relevant industries to identify and grow business opportunities

    Effectively Manage Day-to-Day Business needs

    • Update global marketing calendar for monthly updates to regions.
    • Support ongoing updates to Global scorecard based on forecast and COGs updates.
    • Manage ad hoc business analysis requests as needed for SKUs in category of responsibility.
    • Submit documents to legal portal and trademark requests.
    • Pull data from GMPD.

    Experiences You Have

    • 3+ years related work experience
    • College Degree required
    • Previous end-to-end beauty product launch experience preferred
    • Previous campaign concept and 360 activation experience preferred
    • Marketing/Brand Management experience within prestige cosmetics preferred

    Job Details

    The anticipated base salary range for this position is $73,150 - $109,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
