    The Assistant Manager, Learning Analytics and Reporting will support the multi award-winning Enterprise Learning & Development (EL&D) team in their efforts to drive innovation in the learning space, make informed business decisions, and deliver against critical strategic objectives that support the global strategies of EL&D, Global Talent and Global Human Resources. The position will report into the Sr. Manager, Learning Technology with a dotted line into the Vice President, Enterprise Learning & Development and liaison with Workforce Analytics team. They will support ongoing and required training reporting and analysis, annual year-end public facing metrics, ELC Listens L&D insights, Board of Directors annual meeting, Investor Relations, Global HR Strategy, as well as cross-functional content and program stakeholders to understand learning and training effectiveness, compliance, participation, and excellence in execution.

    Candidate must be comfortable utilizing and analyzing various data sources, both quantitative and qualitative (learning management system reporting, HRIS data, external benchmarking, consumer research, social/digital analytics, industry trends) to influence decisions and action plans that support learning to future-proof the ELC workforce and drive organizational growth. They will be able to leverage these multiple data sources to tell a story and identify insights to drive decision-making across the enterprise.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Support the design, development and execution of EL&D reporting and analytics to provide ongoing, real-time visibility into compliance training, flagship enterprise learning initiatives, and holistic reporting for ELC’s learning ecosystem across Brands, Regions, Functions and Channels for all employees 

    • Quickly absorb current reporting and analytic tools with a focus on refinement, enhancement, and deeper insights

    • Develop and deliver an established reporting cadence for Global HR

    • Prepare for regularly scheduled L&D reviews with VP, EL&D and senior-level executives and content / program stakeholders

    • Share insights, findings, and recommendations with broader EL&D team to support EL&D strategy and to ensure team has up-to-date insights to drive activation

    • Candidate will partner with Sr. Manager, Learning Technology to leverage our most robust source of data, the enterprise learning management system (ELC Learning Hub) as well as colleagues in the Business Intelligence & Analytics team to leverage enterprise best-practices in the data analysis space, and ensure all work is compliant with data security protocols and policies

    • Candidate will serve as a key point of contact to the ELC Listens global employee survey working team to glean insightful learning and development feedback to bring back to the EL&D team to further inform strategic decision making in our concerted effort to bring meaningful, world-class learning solutions to ELC employees 

    • Work with supervisors to continue to evolve data and analytics innovation insights, identify best practice approaches for critical methodologies

    KEY DELIVERABLES AND WORKSTREAMS

    • Gather, synthesize, and report out key metrics and insights across all flagship enterprise learning initiatives leveraging global standards and branding, to deliver consistency and accountability with all stakeholders, while allowing for customization, where approved and necessary, to mine for and glean additional, useful insights 

    • Manage the “Year In Review” annual report by gathering metrics and data across the Education landscape at ELC (Brands, Regions and Functions) to produce a snapshot overview of learning across the enterprise that will deliver meaningful understanding from a historical growth perspective and allow Brands, Regions and Functions to leverage learnings to inform future growth potential

    • Support the gathering of data for the annual Social Impact & Sustainability Report and Board of Directors meeting, and Investor Relations - organizational overviews that include key metrics around learning and its important role in our organizational culture

    • Deliver monthly insights for the Human Resources “Run” PMO meetings to inform HR colleagues of key information about learning programs, share accomplishments, and highlight opportunities for HR support

    • Manage the EL&D Resource Allocator tool, a dashboard that offers visibility into how the team’s resources are being utilized across the variety of projects, initiatives, and programs that are supported.  Analyze team resource usage for trends, opportunities, and callouts so that the VP, EL&D can strategically plan work intake and stakeholder expectations while ensuring the department achieves critical milestones and delivers business critical goals and objectives

     
    

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 4+ years’ work experience required. 4-year college degree preferred

    • Advanced technical competency with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Data visualization and storytelling tools (ex: Power BI)

    • Expertise with formulas, pivot charts/tables, data management & reporting

    • Excellent organization and project management skills with the ability to adhere to timelines, program milestones, including exemplary follow up and follow through

    • Tech savvy, ability to navigate & learn new platforms/programs with some degree of self-initiative 

    • Consumer insights/analytics experience within a large organization a plus

    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

    • Ideal candidate has a service mindset and is results focused with strong work ethic 

    • Must be able to work independently with all levels of the organization 

    • Good business judgment, intelligent, quick learner, common sense 

    • Both capable of thinking out of the box, while being strategic and analytical

    • Must be equally capable of executing both quantitative and qualitative projects

    • Strategic and resourceful thinker who can prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently

    • Global experience a plus

    • Ideal candidate has a passion for learning and a strong interest in the beauty industry
