Associate, Employee Engagement, Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability
POSITION SUMMARY
The ELC Global Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability (GCCS) team aims to partner with our brands, regions, affiliates, functions, and channels to help build a more beautiful and sustainable world. The Employee Engagement pillar of the GCCS team is deeply invested in empowering individuals and communities by leveraging the company’s resources and strengths to drive social impact and sustainability commitments.
The Associate’s primary role is to manage Social Impact and Sustainability employee programs that enhance and embed a culture of purpose by mobilizing and engaging employees to drive ELC’s Social Impact and Sustainability commitments.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP
Cultivate and sustain close working relationship with colleagues leading corporate Social Impact work across brands, regions, affiliates, functions, and channels.
Stay abreast of corporate employee Social Impact and Sustainability trends and benchmark against corporate peers. Participate in corporate citizenship and related meetings, working groups and conferences to deepen knowledge of field.
CAPACITY BUILDING
Develop workshops and materials to train and upskill program managers, brands, regions, affiliates, functions, and channels to implement ELC’s signature Social Impact and Sustainability employee engagement programs locally.
Cascade program offerings and enhancements to global program managers to simplify and deepen employee engagement opportunities.
MEASUREMENT AND REPORTING
Lead the pillar’s overall measurement and reporting efforts.
Support development of annual SI&S report and supply accurate and consistent Employee Engagement data for internal and external reporting.
Manage annual data assurance process, including data aggregation and validation.
COMMUNICATIONS
Liaise with the GCCS and Corporate Communications teams as the key point person to share guidelines and best practices and ensure programmatic brand and messaging consistency.
Develop, update, and maintain communications resources (tutorials, FAQ, and templates) to provide a standard operating procedure for Employee Engagement programs.
Provide oversight of agency or vendor relationships for communications and marketing related to Employee Engagement campaigns
PROGRAMMING
Manage the ELC Good Works platform and programs globally. Serve as primary point of contact for global program managers.
Oversee development and expansion in key markets through guidance on best practices and benchmarking with U.S. program.
Partner with platform vendor and ELC stakeholders on development and rollout of additional functionalities and international expansion.
Analyze program feedback (qualitative and quantitative) and make recommendations for improvements based on data.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required
A minimum of 4+ years of corporate social impact and sustainability or relevant work experience
Excellent project management, data analysis and reporting, and communications skills
