  • Responsibilities

    The HR Associate will be responsible for delivering HRBP, as well as Organizational Effectiveness/Change support for the NA Region’s population, working closely with the NAHRBP team, NA OE and Change team, Global HR Centers of Excellence, people managers and employees.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND COMPENSATION PROCESSES:
      • Draft communications to client groupS, track and maintain records in PDP and HRCR systems to ensure compliance, audit of data for accuracy, manage the distribution process for merit, bonus and equity information to appropriate managers  and facilitate completion of the fiscal and calendar year bonus processes.
      • Work with managers, Finance and Compensation leaders to recommend and determine adjustments and promotions ensuring compliance with company guidelines and practices.
    • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:  
      • Guide managers through performance management and performance improvement planning process – including verbal and written and recommend resolutions
      • Manage complex employee relations issues and determine when to escalate to HRBP.
    • TALENT PLANNING:
      • Provide guidance to managers regarding process and documentation
      • Facilitate meetings and advise managers as needed
    • RECRUITMENT AND RECRUITMENT OPERATIONS:  
      • Act as a liaison with the Talent Acquisition team as it relates to headcount control, open position reporting, and recruitment.
      • Collaborate with TA to strategize a recruitment plan for confidential or mass hiring.
      • Conduct reporting and data analysis of employee movement across the function - new hires in (who they are; what they bring to us) and existing employees into new roles (highlighting HIPO vs. other moves).
      • Track assessment of talent against functional/leadership competencies and the learning and development actions currently in place.  Partner with Management on successful talent management and career coaching in order to drive high performance.
    • HEADCOUNT ANALYSIS:
      • Create and review job descriptions in partnership with Compensation to determine title, level, job grade and understand how role fits into overall proposed structure
      • Partner with Finance to review headcount budget for the department.
    • EMPLOYEE LIFE CYCLE MAINTENANCE:
      • Provide guidance and advise employees throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through promotions, adjustments, lateral changes, ER, leaves, change management, and separations (voluntary and involuntary).
    • HR CONNECT TRANSACTIONS AND ADMINISTRATION:
      • Serve as a point of contact for people managers as it relates to various processes including:  documents required for new hires, job data changes, data corrections, and separations that are unable to be processed in MSS. Make recommendations and resolve issues as needed.
      • Partner with the Disability Management for all leave of absence requests, short term/long term disability, and workers compensation claims.
      • Ensure all data is updated to follow changes to the employee lifecycle. Resolve discrepancies as needed.
      • Complete new hire paperwork and conduct onboarding meetings for new employees to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

       

    • ORG EFFECTIVENESS AND CHANGE: 
      • Support the execution of Organization Design and Organizational Change Management (OCM) programs for workstreams within the region across Brands, Commercial and Functions. 
      • Support will include the development and execution of OD and change activities including training, workshops, stakeholder analyses, communications plans, change impact assessments, change readiness surveys, job descriptions, and adoption and sustainability activities focused on mindsets and behaviors.
    • ORG TRANSFORMATION AND DESIGN:
      • Support the region’s transformation and recovery by creating/maintaining org charts, supporting business case development and preparing documents for legal review and go-live (e.g. communications plans, separation packets, job descriptions, etc.). Responsible for data input and maintenance of templates for Restructuring initiatives.
      • Responsible for execution of case in accordance with restructuring rules (OneSource agreement requests and legal approval process, deployment, tracking, collection and submission of all agreements) as well as tracking and reporting on all changes for NA finance, accounting and global HR partners.
      • Responsible for activating offboarding activities and outplacement invoice management.
